The flag of the Luxembourgers is derived from the colours of the Grand Duke, Count Henry VI and was adopted in 1972. It is often confused with the Dutch flag, the only difference being that the Luxembourg one has a lighter shade of blue.

The flag flies most importantly on National Day on June 23rd.
