The flag of the Territory of Guam is dark blue with a narrow red border on all sides. The centre is dominated by the coat of arms - an almond shaped emblem, which depicts a proa sailing in Agana Bay near Hagåtña, and GUAM colored in red letters.
The shape of the emblem refers to the slingshot stones used by the islanders' ancestors. The landform at the back depicts the Punta Dos Amantes cliff on Guam.
Guam is a US overseas territory and still celebrates the liberation from Japanese occupation in WWII with much flag hoisting on Liberation Day on July 21st.
From only £31.05 per flag, these digitally printed all nation flags are ideal for small quantities.
