The American Samoa flag was adopted in April, 1960. The flag has a blue background and a white triangle with red border which stretches across the flag to the end closest to the flag pole.
Inside the white triangle is an image of an American eagle, carrying a staff and war club. The eagle on the flag is a symbol of Samoa’s link to the United State, whereas the staff and club represent the power of the Samoan leaders.
American Samoa (formally Eastern Samoa) has a strong link with the USA and the flag is often flown at government buildings and political events.
From only £31.05 per flag, these digitally printed all nation flags are ideal for small quantities.
